AI Picture Optimizer
for Streaming
The evolved AI model smartly detects the type of image without any text information, whether it be a video, animation, CG animation, or anything else. Its advanced face detection finds faces in animations to determine whether they are cel or digital animations.
Noise is suppressed to create a smoothness in characters. Realistic backgrounds are portrayed in detail, and outlines are clarified and smoothened. In addition, the noise generated by video compressions such as banding noise, block noise, and mosquito noise is suppressed to restore the image to a clear and smooth state that is closer to the original one.

AI Natural Focus
Technology
This technology captures images as space, and then recreates natural depth. AI detects people in focus and then applies super-resolution processing that is optimized to the subjects. This restores a more natural and detailed texture of people, and as a result, viewers feel as if the person is right in front of them.
Radar Sensing System
Toshiba TV has introduced the industry’s first millimetre-wave radar sensing system for the TV to provide a better viewing environment. The radar detects the position of the viewer without camera.
Optimal image quality according to viewing distance
Excess image precision at close viewing distances tends to be seen as noise, while images are seen as lacking resolution and contrast at long distances. Therefore, the radar sensing system provides better picture quality by optimising the precision of the upscaling depending on viewing distance.
Perfect sound localization regardless of viewing position
Sound quality can be affected by the viewer’s position. The off-center listening position tends to make a phase difference that affects the sound quality. When the radar detects a viewer’s position, the TV automatically applies the time alignment to eliminate the phase difference.
Environment friendly
The Radar Sensing System makes the TV environment friendly. It automatically switches the TV to low-power mode when there are no viewers around.
